Registration with context for the administrator

Find out who registered on your site: a designer, installer, partner, or customer. WA Partner Notifications adds a type and an optional link to standard WordPress registration and the classic WooCommerce “My account” form, saves the request, and sends a notification to the administrator.

Customize It for Your Workflow

Create from 1 to 20 types with custom names. Make selection required or leave it optional. Specify one recipient address and an email subject; leaving the address blank uses the WordPress administrator's email. No customer addresses, supplier codes, or theme-specific settings are included.

Duplicate events do not generate duplicate emails

WooCommerce triggers both the general WordPress hook and its own customer creation hook. The module combines them into one request. Database-level locking protects against concurrent attempts. Once the mail call is confirmed, the notification for that account is not sent again.

Visible results and controlled restoration

The administrator sees the type, email, link, source, date, status, and number of attempts. If WordPress did not confirm sending, you can correct the email settings and make one manual attempt. An interrupted call is marked as having an unknown result: check delivery with the provider first. Confirmation wp_mail does not guarantee inbox delivery; an SMTP service is not included in the product.

Careful Data Handling

Passwords, the complete form, and email bodies are not written to log files. An explanation below the additional fields describes data transfer to the administrator. Applications are stored in private account metadata. The registration type does not change the role, discounts, or access permissions.

Testing and limitations

Local acceptance testing: a clean WordPress 7.1 installation on PHP 8.2.30/MySQL 8.0.45, an additional WooCommerce 11.1.0 integration, real registration forms, mail failure and manual recovery. Twelve parallel processes resulted in one successful mail attempt. During QA, messages were intercepted locally; external SMTP delivery was not tested.

The plugin supports standard form hooks. Third-party forms, network Multisite signup, checkout fields, and legacy customer metadata require a separate adapter. Existing requests are not rewritten when a type name changes. The module is disabled by default; all settings are configured by the site owner.
